Seller agreement
Version 2026-10-12-draft
Draft. This wording has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change.
1. Who this is between
This agreement is between you (the seller) and the operators of Team Marketplace ("we"). It applies whenever you list products or take orders through your store.
2. Your store and your products
- You are the seller of everything you list. You are responsible for its quality, safety and legality.
- Descriptions, prices and photos must be accurate and must not mislead buyers.
- Food, supplements, drugs, cosmetics and other regulated products must carry any registration required by law, including NAFDAC registration where it applies.
- Do not claim that any product cures, treats or prevents a disease unless that claim is approved for that product. For NeoLife catalog products, use only the approved wording provided.
- We may hide or remove listings that break these rules or the law.
3. Payments and fees
- Buyers pay through Paystack. Your share settles directly to the bank account you connect.
- We may charge a platform fee as a percentage of each sale, shown in your dashboard before it applies. We will give notice before changing your fee.
- Discounts you offer come out of your share.
4. Orders, delivery and refunds
- You must fulfil paid orders promptly and keep the order status and delivery details up to date.
- You handle refunds, returns and complaints for your orders, fairly and in line with Nigerian consumer protection law.
5. Your information
- Outside sellers are asked for business details and a valid ID so we can verify who is selling on the platform. We use this only to review your application and to deal with disputes or fraud. It is visible only to platform administrators and is never shown to buyers.
- You must keep buyers' personal details confidential and use them only to fulfil their orders.
6. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close a store that breaks this agreement or the law, or that puts buyers at risk. You can close your store at any time; you remain responsible for orders already paid.
